Roy Ritchey Darr Sr., 74 YOUNGSTOWN -Private services were held for Roy Ritchey Darr Sr., 74 who passed away Saturday morning at his residence surrounded by his family. Roy was born November 25, 1936, in Kittanning, PA the son of Charles and Helen Ritchey Darr. He was a graduate of Kittanning High School and moved to the Youngstown area over 56 years ago. He worked as an electric wireman for Youngstown Sheet and Tube. He belonged to the Youngstown Shriner Club, the Al Koran in Cleveland and was a Mason at Allen Lodge #276 of Columbiana. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Donna McGinnis whom he married in 1956. He also will be missed by his daughter, Robin (Thomas) Kusky of Youngstown; his three sons, Roy R. (Dianna) Darr Jr. of Youngstown; Andrew L. (Marlene) Darr of Leetonia, Thomas D. (Mae) Darr of Lincoln, MA; ten grandchildren, Michelle (Rob) Kusky, Heather (David) Myers, Andrew (Nichole) Darr, Anthony Devlin, Kalie Darr, Emily Ann Darr, Roy R. Darr III, Marissa Darr, Mathew Darr, Renee Lynn Tinelli;; four great-grandchildren, Dontae Couch, Ashley Darr, Blake Darr, Dallas Collier; two sisters, Bonnie Cromiak of Ford City, PA and Charlene DeNardo of Norfolk, VA. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Audrey Ann Darr; and two sisters, Oma June Painter and Audrey Macks. Family wishes that any monetary donations be made in Roy's name to Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market St. Boardman, OH 44512. Arrangements have been handled by the Fox Funeral Home in Boardman.
