Russ S. Yancsurak, 69 YOUNGSTOWN - There will be a funeral service at noon, Monday at the Fox Funeral Home in Boardman for Russ S. Yancsurak, 69, who passed away Thursday evening at his residence. Russ was born March 25, 1945, in Youngstown, a son of the late Steve and Elizabeth Laskay Yancsurak and has been a lifelong area resident. He graduated from Chaney High School with the Class of 1963 and served his country as a medical tech in the U.S. Air Force. He worked for R.E.M.A.C.O.R and more recently at Canfield Industries. Russ enjoyed spending time outdoors, gardening, bird watching, and playing with his dogs, Zoey and Bella. He was an avid Ohio State fan. He was a devoted husband and wonderful father and grandfather who loved to spend time with his family. He will be greatly missed by his wife, Donna M. (Smith-DiMaiolo), whom he married on March 4, 1989. He also leaves to cherish his memory his two daughters, Lanette (Jeff) Olson of Rapid City, S.D., and Nicole (John) Overly of Berlin Center; two sons, Lonnie (Shannan) Yancsurak of Los Angeles, and Bob DiMaiolo of Boardman; two brothers, Wes (Lynn) Yancsurak of Jupiter, Fla., and Bruce (Jo-Anne Chuk) Yancsurak of Columbiana; nine grandchildren, Avery and Jack Olson, Bodie, Beckett and Evie Yancsurak, Ava and Gia DiMaiolo, and J.P. and Ethan Overly.
