Sally Dailey Rees, 59 BOARDMAN - A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. on Friday at St. Patrick Church in Youngstown, celebrated by the Rev. Edward P. Noga, for Sally Dailey Rees, 59. The angels took Sally on Saturday at the Hospice House, surrounded by her loving family. Sally was born May 14, 1956, in Youngstown, daughter of Richard F. and Sara Pemberton Dailey Jr. Sally was a lifelong area resident, she attended Boardman High School. Following in the footsteps of her father, Sally had both a passion for the bartending trade and law enforcement. In the early 80s, she managed the bar at the Youngstown Agora and served at various establishments. She also accomplished her dream of opening her own establishment, Sal's Emergency Room, in the late 80s, in the uptown area of Youngstown. Sally was an auxiliary deputy sheriff with the Mahoning County Sheriff Department from 1993 to 2012, and the grievance coordinator with Corrections Corporation of America from 1997 to 2001. She was a former Mahoning County democratic precinct committee person. Sally enjoyed entertaining, reading and spending time with her husband, Dave, and her dog, Chica. She was most proud to be "Yaya" to grandson Julian. She always donated to local charities, whether it was pushing you toward your dreams, catching you when you fall or bailing you out of jail, her generosity knew no bounds. She was selfless in every capacity. Sally was a women who stood her ground with high integrity, a loving wife, nurturing mother, and loyal friend. Sally leaves to cherish her memory, the love of her life, David Rees III, whom she married Oct. 23, 1984; her daughters, Melanie Morgan of Las Vegas and Sara (Stephanie Clarke) Morgan of Sherman Oaks, Calif.; her sons, David J. Rees IV of Youngstown and Quinn Rees of West Hollywood, Calif.; and her grandson, Julian Dailey Morgan of Las Vegas. She also leaves her sister, Patricia (James) Puhalla; and her brother, Richard (Becky) Dailey III, all of Boardman. Sally's family asks that any memorial tribute donations be made to the Beatitude House, 201 Wick Ave., Youngstown, OH 44503. Friends may call on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Fox Funeral Home and from 9 to 9:45 a.m., Friday, at St. Patrick Church, 1420 Oak Hill Ave., Youngstown
