YOUNGSTOWN- SARA TERESA JOYCE, 99 There will be a Resurrection Mass at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Charles Church for Sara T. Joyce, 99 who passed away Wednesday morning at Hampton Woods. Sara was born June 24, 1913 in Pittsburgh, PA, a daughter of Thomas J. and Anne T. Joyce and has been an area resident since childhood. She graduated from East High School. She worked as an assistant buyer at McKelvey's Department Store for over 30 years until retirement. She was a long time parishioner of St. Charles Parish. She will be greatly missed by her sister Mary Thornton of Boardman; a niece Mary Ann Schultz of Upland, CA; two nephews, John Michael Thornton of Parma, OH and Thomas Patrick Thornton of Fairfax, VA. Besides her parents, Sara was preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Heffernan and two brothers-in-law, John Thornton and Michael Heffernan. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at St. Charles Church prior to her Resurrection Mass.
