Sean Timms, 45 YOUNGSTOWN - Services will be held on Saturday at St. Patricks Church at 10 a.m. for Sean Timms, 45, who died Sunday morning at the Calvin Center. Sean was born March 2, 1970, in Youngstown. He was the son of Robert and Katherine Farragher Timms. He was a 1989 Boardman High School graduate. He attended Youngstown State University. He was a dedicated and loved employee at Fire Line Incorporated. Sean was a casting leader and had been employed since 2001. Sean purchased the Calvin Center on Jan. 15, 2010. He followed his dream and turned it into an establishment for the arts and health wellness. The Calvin Center for the Arts is the hub of LCAA Sports, ECS Whole Fitness, and The Rust Belt Theatre, to include a few. Sean promoted the Youngstown Community Arts, Youngstown SCLP and hosted many charitable benefits. The Mahoning Commons awarded Sean and the Calvin Center the "Neighborhood Improvement" Award in 2011. Besides his parents, Robert and Katherine Timms, Sean leaves his beautiful, talented daughter, Riley Timms; stepsons Kevin Trebella and Andrea Lizzie ; and his sisters, Shannon (Brian) Tareshauty of Canfield, Kristen (Jason) Bostocky, also of Canfield and Erin Timms of Providence, R.I. He also leaves behind his niece, Gabi; and nephews Tyler and Bryson Tareshauty and Zachary Bostocky, all of Canfield. He will be dearly missed by a large extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins. Sean had many lifelong friends who are grieving for him. He also leaves, Karen Tesyk, his loving friend and companion. Sean was preceded in death by his grandparents, Phyllis and Frank Farragher and Mildred and Myren Timms; and uncle Rick Timms. Sean enjoyed hiking and camping. He loved spending time with his family and friends at Lake Erie. Sean had an appreciation of art and culture. He was an avid reader and thirsted for knowledge on subjects of History, Industrial History and Political Science. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home, and from 8:45 to 9:45 a.m. Saturday morning, at the church.
