Stanley H. "Sonny" Lutz Jr., 74 YOUNGSTOWN- There will be private funeral services held for Stanley H. "Sonny" Lutz Jr., 74, who passed away Tuesday morning at his home surrounded by his family. Sonny was born January 15, 1937 in Youngstown, a son of Stanley and Betty Houser Lutz Sr. and was a life-long area resident. He graduated from Chaney High School with the Class of 1955 and was a veteran in United States Navy. Sonny was a shipper/receiver for Packaging Corp. of America retiring in 1983. He was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns and enjoyed playing pool and belonged to the A.P.A (American Pool Players Association). but most of all loved his family and was dedicated to his wife Kay of over 48 years. He will be greatly missed by his wife Catherine "Kay" Thurick whom he married August 3, 1963; his two sons, Dominic (Deborah) Ciccarelli Jr. of Youngstown, Stephen Lutz of Oklahoma City, OK; three daughters, Catherine L. Lutz of Boardman, Lynda (Douglas) Whitchey of Burghill, Rita (Douglas) Bracht of Youngstown; two half-brothers, Ronald Lutz of Indiana, Stanley Lutz of Pennsylvania; nine grandchildren; twelve great grand children and one great great grandchild. Besides his parents, Sonny was preceded in death by a grandson, James Ciccarelli and a great grandson, Jarron Shamblin. Friends may call from 5 to 7p.m. Thursday at the Fox Funeral Home, Boardman.
