New Mexico- Ted N. Holcomb,73 Services will be held a 4 p.m. Friday at the Fox Funeral Home Boardman celebrated by Rev. Edward Noga for Ted N. Holcomb, 73, who passed away Sunday morning at the home of his daughter Charlotte (Rick) in Akron surrounded by his family. Ted was born October 2, 1936 in Dysart, PA a son of William and Martha Hughes Holcomb. Ted was a graduate of the Rayen School with the class of 1955. He was employed by the A.P Tea Company for over 25 years then Giant Eagle where he retired in 2000. He belonged to Retail clerks union Local #880. After retirement Ted and Beth moved to Las Cruces, New Mexico, where he joined the University United Methodist Church. He will be sadly missed by his wife the former Mary Beth Snyder whom he married May 12, 1956. He is survived by his children, Mary (Dr. Donald) Farley of Chardon, OH, Ted (Maria) Holcomb of Shaker heights, OH, Charlotte (Rick Nelson) Holcomb of Akron, OH, John (Michelle) Holcomb of Stow,OH, Matthew (Laura) Holcomb of San Diego, CA; a brother Bill (Judy) Holcomb of Struthers, a sister Cheryl (James) Updegraff of Struthers; a sister-in law Sally Holcomb of Canfield, nine grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Jackie Mc Cutheon and two brothers, Tom and Paul Holcomb.
