THERESA M. SEMCHEE, 82 There were private services held for Theresa M. Semchee , 82, who passed away Friday afternoon at Hospice House surrounded by her loving family. Theresa was born January 10, 1932, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Yash Mikolaj and was a lifelong area resident. Theresa graduated from The Rayen School with the Class of 1950. She worked for Packard Electric Company for twenty years retiring in 1977. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo and traveling to casinos. Her husband Russell D. Semchee Sr. whom she married on June 23 1951 died on June 23, 2012 after 61 years of marriage. She will be greatly missed by her four sons, Russell D. Jr. (Cheryl) Semchee of Hermitage, Pa., Michael (Theresa) Semchee of Austintown, Richard Semchee of Austintown, and Kevin Semchee of North Jackson; a daughter, Karen Christy of Austintown; a sister Dorothy Jordan of Ft. Myers, FL; two brothers Robert Mikolaj of Girard, Cyril Mikolaj of Mineral Ridge;10 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. Besides her husband and her parents Theresa was preceded in death by her son-in-law Dennis Christy; her two grandchildren, Mariah Andrews and Madison Semchee; her two brothers Martin Mikolaj and Andrew Mikolaj Jr. Per Theresa's wishes there were no calling hours and a private family service. Theresa's children would like to thank all of the staff of Hospice of the Valley for the loving care they showed their mother and request that any monetary donations be made in Theresa's memory to Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market St Boardman, OH 44512.
