Thomas W. Carney, 71 BOARDMAN - Prayers will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the Fox Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Saint Dominic Church, for Thomas W. Carney, 71, who passed away Wednesday at his residence. Thomas was born June 4, 1940, in Youngstown, a son of William E. and Ruth V. Cumley Carney and had been a lifelong area resident. He attended Saint Patrick School in Youngstown and graduated from Ursuline High School in 1958. From 1959 to 1962, he served as Specialist 4th Class in the U.S. Army, where he was stationed in Berlin, Germany. The years spent serving his country left an indelible mark on TomA
