Thomas James Nuth, 77 POLAND - There will be funeral service at 10 a.m. Friday at Fox Funeral Home for Thomas James Nuth, 77, who passed away Monday morning at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Youngstown. Thomas was born January 27, 1939, in Suitland, MD, a son of Harry E. and Martha Walker Nuth and moved to the Youngstown area at the age of seven. He graduated from South high School with the Class of 1956. Tom joined the Navy in 1956, trained as an electrician and was honorably discharged in 1959. He worked in steel mills for 47 years with his last position as supervisor of electrical maintenance at the blast furnace of WCI Steel. He taught electricity at Choffin and MCCTC. Tom was a past member of Poland United Methodist Church. He will be sadly missed by his wife of over 56 years, Judy Lehnard whom he married on May 14, 1960. He also leaves two daughters, Lorri Evanchuck and Amy (James) Stacy both of Boardman; a son Thomas (Grace) Nuth of Columbus. He will also be missed by his granddaughter Erin Evanchuck and his grandson Thomas Evanchuck whom he helped raise. Besides his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his two brothers, Harry E. and Richard W. Nuth. Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Fox Funeral Home.
