BOARDMAN-Vera Herman, 86 There will be a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated by Rev. Philip Rogers at 10:00 a.m. Monday at St. Charles Church for Vera Herman, 86, who passed away Wednesday evening at her residence surrounded by her family. Vera was born November 9, 1926 in Youngstown a daughter of Joseph and Ann Birich Barber and has been a lifetime area resident. She graduated from Austintown High School. Vera was a homemaker and has belonged to St. Charles parish for a long time. She was a 'Life Master" in bridge and played in the Boardman Bridge Club. Her husband Donald Herman whom she married October 17, 1951 died April 18, 1981. She will be greatly missed by her two daughters, Lee Ann (Dave) Herman with whom she made her home in Boardman, Ann Margaret (Tim) Serafin of Arkansas; three sons Tom (Michele) Herman of Boardman, Mike (Jeanne) Herman of Canfield, Anthony (Cheryl) Herman of Beaver, PA; a brother Jim Barber of St. Augustine, FL; ten grandchildren, Patricia Herman, Michael Herman, DJ Herman, Nicole Herman, Andrew Herman, Lexy Herman, Anthony Herman, Zachary Herman, Denise O'Halloran, Kirsten Cutter and seven great-grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, Vera was preceded in death by a daughter Dawn Ellen Herman; two brothers, Anthony and Joseph Barber; two sisters, Doris Canis and Stephanie Barber.
