Viola M. Stevenson, 94 POTOMAC, MD--Viola M. Stevenson 94, formerly of Youngstown, Ohio, passed away peacefully Sunday, February 3, 2008 in Potomac, MD. Mrs. Stevenson was born April 4, 1913, in Detroit, MI. Her husband Earle Dodds Stevenson II, whom she married in 1941, passed away in 1988. Besides Detroit and Youngstown, she had lived in Chicago, IL, Pensacola, FL, St. Clairsville, OH and Indianapolis, IN. Viola was once a secretary at General Motors in Detroit before becoming a permanent homemaker. She was a member of Boardman United Methodist Church, The Youngstown Country Club and the Youngstown Club. She was an avid Indianapolis 500 race fan, attending races from 1958 to 1994. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her brother Dr. Charles Mann, daughter-in-law Mary Beth (Earle) Stevenson and a grandson Daniel Stevenson. She leaves her two sons, Earle Dodds Stevenson, III of Avon, IN and Todd Alan (Patricia) Stevenson of Silver Spring, MD and her daughter Beth Anne Siculan of Evanston, IL; grandchildren, Casey Stevenson, Tampa, FL, Steven (Julie) Siculan, Evanston, IL, Douglas (Emily) Stevenson, Noblesville, IN and Cindy Craciunoiu, Rensselaer, IN; and great grandchildren, Haley Siculan, Evanston, IL, Charles Stevenson, Noblesville, IN, Kyle Craciunoiu, Plainfield, IN and Kayla Beth Craciunoiu, Plainfield, IN. There will be a private memorial service on Friday February 22nd at the Fox Funeral Home, Boardman, Ohio. Memorials to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
