Virginia Ann Carney, 74. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Marian Babjak at 11 A.M. Thursday at St. Charles Church for Virginia Ann Carney, 74 of Boardman, who passed away peacefully Sunday morning with her family by her side.. Virginia was born July 28, 1942 in Campbell, a daughter of Martin and Mary Duda Klimko.. She was a 1961 graduate of Ursuline High and was a secretary for Mannesmann Meer, Wean United and retiring from Postal Church Services. Virginia was a member of St. Charles Church, where she trained fellow church members to be eucharist ministers. She was the Chairperson of the prayer and worship committee and dedicated member of the small Christian community, adoration of the Blessed Mother, art and environment committee, liturgy coordinator for Sunday services. And was the former treasurer and member of the P.T.A.. One of her greatest joys in life was spending time with her four loving grandchildren. Virginia leaves to cherish her memory, her husband George T. Carney, whom she married November 26, 1966, son David (Angela) Carney of Appleton, Wisconsin, a daughter Dianne (Steve) Studzinski of Poland, a brother Eugene Klimko of Columbus, a sister Loretta Dotson of Canfield and a sister Patricia Klimko, brother-in-laws Dennis Carney of Poland and James (Karen) Kimmel of Boardman a sister-in-law Patricia Carney of Boardman, and four grandchildren Aiden Carney, Adelyn Carney, Adam Beggs and Lucas Beggs, their father Jack Beggs, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents, Virginia is preceded in death by two brothers Charles Klimko and Lawrence Klimko, a sister Mary Dolores Klimko and a brother-in law John Dotson and a sister in law Linda Carney. Friends may call from 9:30 to 11 A.M. Thursday at St. Charles Church. Material tributes can be made in Virginia's memory to the Hope Center, 835 Southwestern Run, Poland, Ohio 44514.
