Virginia F. Jurus, 77 BOARDMAN-- Funeral Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at St. Dominic Church for Virginia F. Jurus, 77, who died Thursday at her residence. Virginia was born September 17, 1931, in Oil City, Pennsylvania, a daughter of Frank & Pauline Brzozowski. She worked at Boardman High School in the cafeteria and maintenance department for 31 years. She enjoyed crafts and going to the Boardman Octoberfest. Her husband, Richard E. Jurus, whom she married July 26, 1953, died September 20, 1987. She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Katherine S. Sherock of Jackson Twp., Ohio and Beverly (Jeff) Dorn of Canfield; a son, Professor Richard E. (Melinda) Jurus of Dayton; a brother, John Brzozowski of North Tonawanda, New York; two sisters, Mary Sattlerberg of North Tonawanda, New York and Phyllis Marki of Columbiana; six grandchildren, Nicole, Zachary and Valantina Sherock and Ryan, Amanda & Joe Dorn. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Brownie & Bullets Brzozowski and a sister, Helen Slomda. There are no calling hours.
