Wallace Stitle, 91 YOUNGSTOWN - A private funeral service was held for Wallace Stitle, 91, on Saturday by Pastor Russ Adams at Lake Park Cemetery Chapel. Wallace who passed away Thursday morning was a life-long area resident. He was born Dec. 9, 1919, in Youngstown, the son of Oliver and Elizabeth Money Stitle. He was a graduate of South High School and worked for many years at the Youngstown Vindicator. Wallace was a veteran, who served in the U.S. Navy. Wallace was a long time member of the Boardman chapter of AARP. He will be greatly missed by his wife, Dorothy Kleeh, whom he married on Dec. 6, 1946, just short of celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary. He will also be missed by several nieces and nephews. Wallace was preceded in death his son, Drew James Stitle, who died July 5, 1983; and two sisters, Kay Williams and Olive Lewis. Wallace's family wishes to thank the administration and staff at Meridian Arms for their loving and compassionate care given to him.
