Michael Luczak of Youngstown, passed away unexpectedly on January 12th, 2017 at his residence. Mr. Luczak was born on December 24th 1947 in New Castle, PA to the late Walter Luczak and Ida Wanda Luczak Wallas. Michael was a 1966 graduate of New Castle High School and later joined the United States Air Force where he served our country for over 20 years, retiring as a Major in 1998. He also held many positions throughout his nursing career at St. Francis hospital and West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. Michael enjoyed cooking and baking and spending time with his beloved dog, Togo. He is survived by a daughter, Jacqueline Freeman and her husband Todd of Odessa, TX along with 2 granddaughters. He is also survived by his sister, Joan Wojnar of New Castle, PA and a close friend Tariq Hamid Khan of Tampa, FL. A memorial service will be held Saturday March 25th, 2017 at 11 am at the Fox Funeral Home 4700 Market St, Youngstown, OH 44512
