William Paul Bean, 86 There will be a Funeral Mass celebrated by Rev. Michael Marcelli at 11:00 a.m. Monday at St. Charles Church for William Paul Bean, who passed away peacefully Wednesday evening at Northside Medical Center. Bill was born December 4, 1925 in Youngstown, the son of Paul and Ida Fitz Bean and has been a lifetime area resident. He graduated from Boardman High School with the Class of 1944 and then enlisted into the Army. He served in the 5th Armored Division during WWII where he fought in the Battle of the Bulge. After the war Bill went to Ohio State where he earned his Civil Engineering degree which assisted him in his job as general superintendent at Bucheit Construction Company. Bill was a long time parishioner at St. Charles parish, a member of the American Legion #0888, Eagles #213, Moose Lodge #608 and Elks #2495. He will be sadly missed by his wife Mary C. "Kay" Lynch whom he married November 22, 1951 just celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary. He also leaves to cherish his memory his daughter Patricia Ann Newell of Overland Park, KS; four sons William P. Bean Jr. of Port St. Lucy, FL, Michael J. (Colleen) Bean of Levittown, PA, Timothy C. (Peggy) of Levittown, PA, Thomas J. (Beth) Bean and eleven grandchildren. Besides his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his sister Pauline Hindson. Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at Fox Funeral Home in Boardman.
