William B. Booker,52 BERLIN CENTER-There will be a funeral service at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Fox Funeral Home celebrated by Pastor Russ Adams for William Bryan Booker, 52 , who passed away Thursday morning at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center after a long battle with cancer. Bill was born March 15, 1960 in Youngstown, the son of William F. and Beverly Davis Booker and was a life-long area resident. He graduated from Boardman High School with the Class of 1978. Bill has worked as a carpenter and maintenance man at Colonial Villa Estates for 42 years. Bill belonged to the AVP Volleyball Association. He loved music and played the drums, enjoyed fishing, boating and camping. Bills favorite activities involved hanging out with his family, buddies and neighbors. He will be greatly missed by his wife Barbara Hernan whom he married July 10, 1996. He also leaves his mother Beverly Booker of Boardman; his father and step-mother William F. (Anne) Booker of Columbiana; two step-children Tarah DeSatnik of Huntsville, AL and Brian DeSatnik of Berlin Center; a sister Lori Czap of Austintown; a grandson Zachary DeSatnik of Berlin Center; a daughter Desiree Holman of Cuyahoga Falls and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours are from 5p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the Fox Funeral Home, Boardman.
