William A. Boomhower. 77 of Youngstown passed away peacefully Tuesday afternoon with his family by his side. William was born March 9, 1939 in Youngstown, a son of the late Arthur T. and Harriet D. Dugan Boomhower.. He was a 1957 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School and retired in 2004 as the Mill Operator at Plant 3 for Hynes Steel.. William was a member of the Knights of Columbus and enjoyed golfing, bowling and fishing. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 57 years the former Margaret J. Schuler, three daughters Patricia Campbell of Youngstown, Gloria (KenVakasy) Dunlap of Youngstown and Delores (Brian Schell) Riley of Liberty, three grandchildren Starr (Mike Lynn) Lynn, William (Audra) Boomhower and Christopher James, and six great grandchildren.
