Services will be 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Fox Funeral Home, celebrated by Rev. Edward P. Noga for William M. " Murph " Durkin, Jr., who passed away at his residence. Murph was born on August 11, 1944 in Youngstown son of William M. and Mary Emily Stanton Durkin, Sr., and was a lifelong area resident. He attended St. Patrick's School and graduated from Cardinal Mooney High School in 1963. Murph work for General Electric Until its Closing , He was a member of St. Dominic Church for many years. Murph will be greatly missed by His brother Daniel ( Therese ) Durkin of North Port, Florida and his Nieces and Nephews Kelly ( Chuck ) Dean of North Port; Daniel ( Kristy ) Durkin of Pace, Fla. and Brian Durkin of North Port. He also leaves his two great nieces Katie Graves and Ellory Durkin, plus many cousins and friends. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Fox Funeral Home.
