A funeral services will be held at 7 P. M. Thursday, October 20, at the Fox Funeral Home, Boardman, for William E. Maine, II, 80, who passed away peacefully Sunday October 9. William was born November 2, 1935 in Youngstown, a son of Dr. William E. & Sarah Canton Maine. He was a Kiski Academy and Culver Military Academy graduate. William was a engineer with the Pittsburgh and Lake Erie Railroad and then started his own auto body business, becoming known as the "Dent Man". William was a avid water and snow skier and won many trophies and medals while skiing at Cypress Gardens, Vail and Aspen. He was a Mason and a member of the Youngstown Ski Club. He leaves to cherish his memory two sisters: Dawna J. Cole of Binghamton, New York and Charlotte E. (Don) Pirko of Charlotte, North Carolina.. Besides his parents, William was preceded in death by a brother, Darryl Maine. Friends may call from 4 to 7 Thursday at the Fox Funeral Home, Boardman.
