Alice Senzarino, 77, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2024, in her Austintown home with family by her side.
Alice was born in Youngstown, on November 14, 1946, to John and Ann (Sinko) Beaudis. She graduated from Chaney High School in 1964, where she was a Chaney Cowboy Majorette and a member of many other clubs. She married her soulmate John “Sonny” Senzarino June 10, 1967. They raised two daughters and were gifted with 56 years of marriage and family. The scents of Alice’s cooking and baking filled their house along with her loving personality, kindness, and beautiful smile, making their home the place for celebration and gathering of family and friends.
Alice was actively involved with her girls as they grew, volunteering at school, chauffeuring to and from activities, and hosting sleepovers. But more importantly, she was there when her family got home from work or school to ask about their day or when they needed a hug or a band-aid. She kept her family tight with her love and insistence on dinner as a family. She worked for many years as a bookkeeper for the Hair Hut and rounded out her professional career as an office assistant at a pediatric medical practice. She was Grammy to three grandchildren whom she said were the “most wonderful blessings of her life”. Along with their Papa, she spent an enormous amount of time with them creating memories they will hold in their hearts forever.
Alice leaves to cherish her memory her husband Sonny, children Kelly (Alec) Senzarin-Kulik and Amy (Bob) Senzarin DeCenso, grandchildren Vincent DeCenso, Gia DeCenso, and Sammy Kulik, as well as other close family and dear friends.
Her parents and older sister Marlene (Jack) Sherfel preceded her in death.
To honor the wishes of Alice and her family, the memorial will be private.
Alice’s family would like to thank the caretakers and employees of Ohio Living Home Health & Hospice of Greater Youngstown for the care and compassion they provided and ask that donations go to the agency so they can continue to help others through the difficulty of end of life. They can be contacted at 6715 Tippecanoe Rd Building E Suite 201, Canfield, OH 44406.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Edward J. Fox & Sons Funeral Home, 4700 Market St. Boardman.
