Becky L. Amadio, 66 of Boardman, passed away Friday evening Oct 24, 2025, after receiving the Viaticum Sacraments.
and a long battle with cancer with her loving family by her side. She was born May 24, 1959, in East Palestine, a daughter of the late Robert and Esther Junker Clark.
Becky was a 1977 graduate of East Palestine High School and worked as a secretary in the trust department at Bank One, and for the Boardman School system in the cafeteria at West Blvd and Boardman High School. Since 2010, Becky was a sixth-grade teacher’s aide at Boardman Center Middle School. She was a member of St. Dominic Church and past president of the Boardman P.T.A. Becky had many interests in her life, which included sewing, crocheting, reading, gardening, crafting and spending time with her family. Becky was also very involved with the children of Chernobyl organization and informally adopted a young girl named Nastya Tretyakova as her Belarusian daughter.
Along with her loving husband Carmen, owner of Tesone’s Boot and Shoe Repair, whom she married November 30, 1985, she leaves to cherish her memory, her children Elizabeth (Michael) Bustamante, Kathryn Asimakopoulos, and Joe Amadio, sister Cheryl Sansenbaugher, brother Russ Clark, and grandchildren, Brayden, Noah, Leo, Lily, Grace, Luca and Lina. Becky is preceded in death by her brother Dave Clark and brother-in-law Kim Sansenbaugher.
Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday Oct 30, 2025, at the Fox Funeral Home, followed by a Rosary service at 7 P.M. and from 9 to 9:50 Friday Oct 31, 2025, at St. Dominic
Church, 77 E. Lucuis Ave. Youngstown, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, celebrated by Fr. Frassati Davis, O.P. at 10A.M.
She will be laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery.
Becky’s family would like to thank her Care Angels, and the staff of Ohio Living Hospice, plus the medical staff of University Hospital.
