Blake Howell passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2026.
Blake was born on June 12, 1963, the son of Earl W. and Helene A. Patton Howell. He will be remembered for his larger-than-life personality, quick sense of humor, and love of rock and roll.
He leaves to cherish his memory his fiancé, Kim Smith; daughters, Megan and Annie Howell; granddaughter, Layla; sisters, Karen Thompson of Cleveland and Linda (Robert) Vaughn of Boardman; brothers, Craig (Tracy) Howell of Hartville and Kirk (Darla) Howell of Boardman; brother-in-law, David Wagner; and several nieces and nephews.
Blake was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Diane Wagner; and his brothers, Brian Howell and Bradley Howell.
Blake also leaves behind his five dogs, each a big part of his life who brought him so much joy. They were his constant companions and a reflection of his gentle heart.
Blake loved spending time outdoors and enjoyed countless days fishing, boating, skiing, and camping. He embraced life’s simple pleasures and lived freely and fully. Those moments were where he felt most at peace.
Blake’s presence was unmistakable. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Family and friends will be received on Saturday, January 31, 2026, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Fox Funeral Home. A service will follow at 1 p.m. to reflect on Blake’s life and unforgettable character.
