Charles " Chuck" Edward Reigrut

Charles Edward Reigrut Sr., age 75, passed away peacefully at home November 11, 2024.  Charles “Chuck” was born November 24, 1948, in Youngstown OH to the late George & Catherine T. (Matasek) Reigrut. Chuck was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and received an Associate of Business from Youngstown State University.  He married his wife Mary Ruth Eich on November 11, 1972, and raised his family in Youngstown. Chuck served in Vietnam as a Marine and worked for 45 years at General Motors in Lordstown, OH. Besides his grandchildren, he enjoyed fishing and feeding the birds.

Chuck is survived by his wife Mary Ruth and his 5 children, Cristan (William Spranz), Charles E. Jr. (Elizabeth), Joseph (Carol), Timothy (Emily) and Jeffrey. He was a devoted brother to Daniel & Georgia. Beloved grandfather to Charlie, Zac, Kenny, Hailey, Joey, George, Matthew & Timmy. Cherished brother-in-law to several brother's and sister's in-law and uncle to many nieces & nephews.     

Besides his parents Chuck was preceded in death by his in-laws Frank and Ruth Eich and his brothers James and Lawrence Reigrut.

Family & friends are invited to visit on Friday November 15, 2024, from 9:45 AM to 11:45 AM at St Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 7345 Westview Dr. Boardman OH, with a Mass of Christian Burial following, celebrated by The Very Rev. John Sheridan at 12 PM. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ursuline Sisters of Youngstown, 4250 Shields Rd. Canfield, Ohio 44406.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Edward J. Fox & Sons Funeral Home, 4700 Market St. Boardman, Ohio 44512.
