Edward " Teddy" Owen Jones

Edward “Teddy” Owen Jones, 82 passed away peacefully Monday afternoon November 17, 2025.  He was born November 1, 1943, in Youngstown, a son of the late Thomas J. and Clara Rochford Jones, Jr.  Teddy attended The Rayen School and worked at Youngstown Steel Door. In his later years, Teddy owned and operated Uptown Motors on Market St. He was a lifelong member of St. Edwards Church. 

Teddy leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife the former Patricia M. Barbato, whom he married on July 19, 1980, at St. Patrick's Church.

His daughters Angela Diana and Jennifer Diana, sister Barbara Miller and grandchildren Michael Diana, Dorothy Knapp and John Knapp.

 Teddy is preceded in death by his brother Thomas Jones III, and sisters Joyce Perkins and Marilyn Sanders. 

Family and friends may call from 11 to 1 P.M. Monday November 24, 2025, at the Fox Funeral Home, 4700 Market St. Boardman, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:30 at St. Patrick Church, 1420 Oak Hill Ave. Youngstown, celebrated By Rev. John Rovnak.

 He will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Edward J. Fox & Sons Funeral Home, 4700 Market St. Boardman.
