James Good, 58, passed away peacefully in his sleep on October 20, 2025, in Youngstown, Ohio, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born on September 18, 1967, in Youngstown, James spent his life in the community where he was raised. He was known to those around him for his unique passions and quiet strength.
James had a deep affection for animals, especially cats. Over the years, he cared for many feline companions, but brown tabbies held a special place in his heart. His most recent beloved cats, Chester and Bandit, brought him great comfort and joy.
In addition to his love for animals, James had a lifelong enthusiasm for racing cars, hockey, and music interests that brought him excitement and solace throughout his life.
He is lovingly remembered by his brother and sister-in-law, Stephen Good, Sr. and Susan Good; his sister, Barbara Yonnotti; and his sister-in-law, Deborah Good. He is also remembered by his extended family: Paul and Deb Fiehler (uncle and aunt), William and Deanna Wilson (uncle and aunt), Lorraine English (aunt), and Barb Good (aunt).
James was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Charlene Good; his brother, Leonard Good Jr.; his daughter, Laura; his uncle, Jack Good; his uncle, Vince English; and his uncle and aunt, Bob and Pam Krugle, and brother-in-law David Yonnotti.

Friends may call from 5 – 7 p.m. Friday, October 24, 2025, and from 10 – 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 25, 2025.
There will be a funeral service following calling hours on Saturday at the Edward J. Fox & Sons Funeral Home
