James J. Bent

James J. Bent passed away in his sleep on the evening of Tuesday, April 30, 2024, while in the care of Sunrise Assisted Living Facility in Yorba Linda, CA. He was 94 years old. He was a successful real estate professional throughout his adult life, and was a resident of California since leaving his home town of Somerville, Massachusetts to serve in the US Air Force for three years. His wife, Anita, preceded him in death in 2019, and he was laid to rest with her at Belmont Park Cemetery.

He is survived by his sons, Jamie and Charles Bent, both of whom reside in California, his sister, Arlene Boyson, who resides in Massachusetts, as well as by nieces and nephews residing in Maryland, and Tennessee.
