John Henry Guerriero

John Henry Guerriero, 93 passed away peacefully Sunday morning.  He was born February 12, 1932, in Masury, son of the late John and Marion Meyers Guerriero.  After attending South High School, John was drafted into the Army, serving during the Korean war, where he learned to repair vehicles, a trade that he used later in life.

 Upon his discharge for the Army, John went to work in the transportation Dept of U.S. Steel Ohio works, followed by working as a mechanic for Greenwood Chyrsler, retiring in 1998.  John enjoyed working in his vegetable garden, growing roses, playing cards, sailing, water skiing and tinkering and fixing things.  His wife, the former Dolores A. Wardle, whom he married July 14, 1951, passed away March 29, 2019.  He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, John R. (Jane) Guerriero, Rodney A Guerriero, Robert B. Guerriero, Michael J. Guerriero and Michele L. Horn, sister Cathy Heater, six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.  John is preceded in death by a brother Richard Guerriero, daughter in laws Roberta Guerriero and Pam Guerriero, and son in law Dana Horn.

Family and friends may call from 12:30 to 2:20 Friday January 16, 2026, at the Fox Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service at 2:30. 

He will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife at Lake Park Cemetery.
