Judy E. (Blick) Pezzano

Judy E. Pezzano passed away peacefully on Monday August 12, 2024.

She was born on January 13, 1940, in Youngstown, the daughter of the late Samuel and Catherine Valentine Blick, and was a lifelong area resident.  

After graduating from South High School in 1958, Judy went to work in the corporate offices of the Youngstown Sheet & Tube Co.

After raising her family, she later went to work at Williams & Company.  In 1990, Judy started working at Easter Seals Society, where she spent many years until her retirement.

 She was a member of St. Patrick Church, and St. Charles Church, and attended mass at the Monastery. 

 Judy was an avid reader, she enjoyed being outdoors and planting flowers around her home and loved going on family vacations.

 She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband Frank C. Pezzano, whom she married August 31, 1968, son Frank C. (Christina) Pezzano, Jr, daughter Lisa (fiancée Todd Higgins) Rygiel, and grandchildren Samuel Pezzano, Madilyn Pezzano, Violet Rygiel and Ridge Rygiel

Besides her parents Judy was preceded in death by her brother Samuel “Ronnie” Blick.

A mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday August 16, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Church 1420 Oak Hill Ave, in Youngstown, celebrated by Rev. Thomas Kraszewski.

Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Edward J. Fox & Sons Funeral Home, 4700 Market St. Boardman.
