Lee E. Elmo

Lee E. Elmo, 80, passed away peacefully Thursday morning April 24,2025, with his family by his side.  Lee was born August 27, 1944, in Youngstown, a son of the late Rudy and Bea Hofmaster Elmo. 

After graduating from South High School in 1962, he enlisted in the Army.  Upon his discharge, Lee went to work at Youngstown Steel Door, followed by a long career in the appliance department at Sears and Roebuck in the Southern Park Mall. 

He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, coaching his son’s Little League teams, and golfing where he got a hole in one.

 Lee leaves to cherish his memory, his sons Lance Elmo (fiancée Lori and her children Ava & Tyler)

and Craig Elmo, and his nephew Josh Elmo.  Lee was also survived by many cousins.  

Besides his parents Lee was preceded in death by his brother Ronnie Elmo.

The family would like to thank Patriot Health, especially Jason and Mo, for their compassion for taking wonderful care of Lee.

 And wishes to thank Ron, Julie, Caden, Molly, Karen and Cousin Tony for their love and support.

A celebration of Lee’s life will be at a later date. 

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Edward J. Fox & Sons Funeral Home, 4700 Market St. Boardman.
