Linda Marie Budd, 69 of Boardman, went to be with friends and family in heaven on October 28, 2024.
Linda was born October 15,1955 in Lake Worth, Florida, the daughter of Jack and Tracey Bruno Budd.
She moved to Boardman as a child and was a lifelong resident.
After graduation from Boardman High School in 1974, Linda graduated from St. Elizabeth School of Nursing.
She attended classes at YSU for studies in history and religion.
Linda traveled extensively for mission trips to Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras and South Dakota.
She also traveled to Italy, China, Hawaii and Bosnia Herzegovina for Leisure.
Her favorite place in the world was Rehoboth Beach, DE., where she vacationed her whole life.
She worked in Houston, Texas., at Methodist Hospital under Dr. Michael DeBakey. She especially enjoyed working in critical care, and dialysis.
She taught families and patients to perform peritoneal and Hemodialysis at home.
She loved to teach and train new nurses, she also spent part of her nursing career caring for Alzheimer’s patients and their families.
Linda had a passion for nursing and spent her life helping people. During her 40 plus year career.
She was a member of St. Dominic’s Catholic Church and was an amateur apologist for Catholicism.
Linda was an avid reader and animal lover and was a loving mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her son Justin Beveridge and his family of Boardman, daughter-in-law Lizette and grandson, Andrew. She also leaves her sister Lorrie and brother Michael, both of Florida.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents and her grandparents Jack and Nora Budd and Mary Bruno, and special aunt and uncle Rose and Paul Benton.
Family and friends may call from 5 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday November 5, 2024, at the Fox Funeral Home in Boardman.
Calling from 9:30 to 10:20 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday November 6, 2024, celebrated by Fr. Chad Johnson at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 210 E. Main St. East Palestine, Oh., 44413.
Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in East Palestine.
The Budd family asks that any monetary gifts be made in Linda’s name to the Alzheimer’s network, 4214 Market St. Youngstown, Ohio, 44512.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Edward J. Fox & Sons Funeral Home, 4700 Market St. Boardman.
