Martin " Marty " E. Eich

Martin (Marty) E. Eich, age 67, passed away with his family by his side December 11, 2024.  Marty was born August 2, 1957, in Youngstown OH to the late Ruth (Finnerty) & Frank Eich Jr. Marty attended St. Charles grade school & graduated from Cardinal Mooney High School in 1976. Marty worked at the Boulevard Tavern for many years. He also worked for Fox Funeral Home and for the last 20 years, at All State Insurance. He was well-liked and maintained many close friendships from all of his places of employment.

Marty enjoyed watching his numerous nieces and nephews play every sport imaginable. He was an avid Notre Dame, SF 49ers and Guardians Fan, and always enjoyed tailgating especially in South Bend, IN and at home on Forest Park Drive. He loved Wednesday night bingo with his cousins and friends at the Petri Club.

Marty is survived by his sisters and brothers, Dianna (Jack) Kennedy, Theresa Helen (Fred) Griffiths, Mary Ruth Reigrut, Peggy (Bill) Mills, Tricia (Tom) Sheridan, Frank (Terri) Eich and Tom (Susan) Eich, as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.  He also leaves behind many cousins and very close friends. 

Besides his parents, Marty is preceded in death by his brother-in-law Chuck Reigrut.

Family & friends are invited to visit on Tuesday 12/17/2024, from 9:15 AM to 11:15 AM at St Charles Church, 7345 Westview Dr. Boardman OH, with a Mass of Christian Burial following, celebrated by The Very Rev. John Sheridan at 11:30 AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ursuline Sisters of Youngstown, 4280 Shields Rd. Canfield, OH 44406.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Edward J. Fox & Sons Funeral Home, 4700 Market St. Boardman.
