Phyllis Marie Varie

Boardman, Phyllis Marie Varie, 79 passed away peacefully Thursday morning July 4.  She was born October 6, 1944 in Youngtsown, a daughter of Anthonny and Arlene Longo Santucci.  After graduating from South High School, Phyllis went to work at Milo Beauty Supply and Pepperidge Farms.  Phyllis enjoyed bingo, her dog “BB” and spending time with her grandchildren, who affectionately called her “Myie”.  She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband Alex Varie, Jr., sons Alex (Karen) Varie III, Michael Varie and Joesph Varie, daughter Kathy Varie-Wells, sister Martha Coustillac, ten grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Along with her parents, Phyllis is preceded in death by son Dean Varie and brothers Anthony and Nicholas Santucci.  Friends may call from  10 to 10:50 Tuesday July 9 at the Fox Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service at 11.
