Richard B. Love, 94, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning, September 30, 2025, at his home with his loving family by his side. He was born June 2, 1931, in Denver Colorado, and the son of the late Eugene C. and Stella B. Norton Love.
After graduating from Boulder High School and attending the University of Colorado, he enlisted in the United States Navy, serving his country for three years. Richard retired from Mahoning County Engineers. His favorite past times included walking his dog Murphy, spending time on his front porch, cheering on his favorite teams which included the Denver Broncos, Pittsburgh Steelers, and the Colorado Buffalos, but most of all reminiscing about his favorite place Boulder, Colorado. A devoted Catholic, Richard was a member of both St. Dominic Church and St. Charles Church. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, the former Judith A. Barrett, whom he married August 17, 1963, daughters Cindy Love-Lamb (Doug Lamb) and Jennifer Love-Enright, grandchildren Brendan Lamb, Maura Lamb, Katie Enright, Courtney Enright and Colin Enright, nephews Richard Love and David Love and niece Laura Ann Love-Hopkins. Richard is preceded in death by his daughter Sharon Love, son in law Joel Enright and brother Eugene R. Love.
Family and friends may call from 9 to 9:50 Friday Oct 3, 2025, at St. Dominic Church,77 E. Lucius Ave. Youngstown, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. celebrated by Rev. Frassati Davis, O.P. A private Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
