Robert R. Haddle, 66, of Poland, passed away peacefully Wednesday morning September 4, 2024, with his loving family by his side.
He was born January 25, 1958, in Youngstown, to the late Carl and Mary Stirk Haddle, Sr. After graduating from Chaney High School in 1976, Bob enlisted in the Navy, serving as a cook abroad on the USS Guam.
Upon his honorable discharge, Bob went to work as a semitruck driver for Borden Dairy, before retiring from Schwebel’s Bakery in 2023.
Bob enjoyed cooking, canning, yard work and going to the American Legion 472, where he was the sergeant in arms.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife the former Debbie E. Shick, whom he married November 27, 1987, sons Shane (Matthew) Haddle, Gary (Audrey) Haddle and David (Stacey) Binder, brothers Carl “Zeke” (Joanne), Jr. and Earl (Judy) Haddle, several nieces, nephews and grand dogs.
Bob is preceded in death by his sister Patty Kohut.
Family and friends may call from 11 to 12:50 Monday Sept 9, 2024, at the Fox Funeral Home 4700 Market St. Boardman, followed by a funeral service at 1 P.M. officiated by Fr. Thomas Constantine.
Bob will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with full military honors.
