Rose Marie Carter

Rose Marie Carter, 94 of Youngstown, passed away at her residence on Tuesday April 22, 2025, with her family at her side.

She was born on March 28, 1931, in West Union, West Virgina, daughter of the late Bernard Davis and Gladys Farrell.

She moved to Youngstown when she was eleven years old. Rose graduated from South High School.

Rose married her husband Edward Carter Sr. on October 14, 1949, sadly he passed on April 11, 1984.

She was a housewife, raised her children and worked in maintenance office at the Youngstown Union National Bank until retiring. She enjoyed crocheting,

She leaves to cherish her memories, her children, son Richard Carter of Youngstown, daughter Brenda Carter of Struthers, son Bernard Carter of Middleburgh Fla. and daughter Carla Carter of Waverly New York.  Rose has seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren and two great -great grandchildren.

Besides her parents and her husband Rose was preceded in death by her daughters Judy Davis and Cheryl Hunt and her son Edward Carter, Jr. 

Rose will be privately buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery next to her husband.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Edward J. Fox & Sons Funeral Home, 4700 Market St. Boardman.
