Ruby Irene Maag

There will be a private funeral service for Ruby Irene Maag who passed away on
Saturday Jan 3, 2026 at her residence surrounded by her loving daughter Barbara.
Ruby was born on June 5th 1922 daughter of Sheldon and Agnes Jones VanDyke. She
married George September 13, 1952 and they celebrated 60 years of marriage. Ruby
worked for the TiP Sand Blast Company for more than 35 years. She loved to dance in her
younger years, she played bingo, and loved to crochet, She lived a full life.
She will be missed by her daughter Barbara A. Maag of Boardman, and son Philip (Sara)
Maag of California. Two grandchildren Amanda and P.J. Maag.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband George, three sisters,
Dorthy King, Alberta Denamen, and Virginia .Myers. Her final resting place will be in
the Brookfield Cemetery next to her husband.
The family would like to thank Hospice House for their devotion and support during her
illness.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Edward J. Fox & Sons Funeral Home, 4700 Market St. Boardman.
