Samuel Kritzer

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Samuel Kritzer who departed this life on August 6, 2025, at the age of 82. Samuel was born on July 14, 1943, in Erie, PA to the late Leah Kritzer.

Samuel was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather and great grandfather. He shared over 50 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Constance. Samuel lived in several states over the course of his career with the Firestone Corporation working as a Consumer Affairs Advisor. His final state to call home was in Ohio. 

Samuel was known for his warm spirit, unwavering values, and deep love for his family and the Lord. He was a longtime active member of Evangel Baptist Church. His presence, wisdom, and gentle humor will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife, Constance, three sons: Wayne (Suzanne) Bayer of Boca Raton, FL, William (Linda) Bayer of Mountville, PA, James (Lisa) Bayer of Lower Burrell, PA, 11 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Leah Kritzer and a son, Anthony Bayer. 

Friends will be received on Thursday, August 14, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. at Evangel Baptist Church, 5248 Southern Boulevard, Boardman, OH 44512. The service will be officiated by Pastor Jung Schin.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Evangel Baptist Church, 5248 Southern Boulevard, Boardman, OH 44512. 

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Edward J. Fox & Sons Funeral Home, 4700 Market St. Boardman.
