A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Gerald DeLucia at 11 A.M. Wednesday at St. Charles Church for Anna Marie Veauthier-Sohl of Poland who passed away Friday, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
Anna was born Oct 21, 1949 a daughter of Fred and Gertrude Lindsay Veauthier. She was a Boardman High School graduate, Class of 1968 and received an Associates degree in science from Youngstown State University. Anna Marie was a dietician in Amityville, New York, before moving back to Youngstown. She was a member of St. Charles Church and enjoyed sewing and embroidery. Her husband Paul Sohl, whom she married in 1994, passed away in 2011.
She leaves to cherish her memory, brothers Nicholas (JoAnn) Veauthier, Sr and Calvin (Jean) Veauthier, nieces Cynthia, Jackie, Dawn and Kristen, and nephews Fred, Gregg, Nicholas Jr, Brian, five great-nieces and five great-nephews.
Besides her parents and husband, Anna Marie is preceded in death by a brother William Veauthier and his wife Patti.
