John A. Longo

Funeral services will be 10:30 Saturday at the Fox Funeral Home, for John A. Longo, 68 of Poland, who passed away peacefully Monday morning with his family by his side.  John was born February 28, 1950 in Youngstown, a son of Joseph and Rose Ingrosso Longo.  He was a 1968 graduate of East High School and a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Basilica. John work at Youngstown Steel Door, K-Mart Distribution Center, Mill Creek Enterprises, Evergreen Terrace Apartments and was a self-employed contractor of Angelos construction. John enjoyed gardening, woodworking and spending time with his family and his Boston Terriers Rocky and Vinnie.  He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughters Tina Longo and Laura (Rich) McDermott, His lifetime companion Mary Ellen Dorbish, Gene (Ginger)Longo and Andy (Judy) Longo, sister Marlene DiRocco, granddaughter Angelina Wilhelm.  Besides his parents, John is preceded in death by a daughter Rose Marie Longo and brothers Joseph Longo Jr, and Anthony Longo.  Friends may call from 4 to 7 Friday at the Fox Funeral Home, 4700 Market St. Boardman.
