A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Philip Rogers at 11:00 Monday at St. Charles Church for Louise Manley, 88, of Boardman who passed away peacefully Wednesday morning with her loving family by her side.
Louise was born March 20, 1930 in Youngstown, a daughter of Cecil C. and Velma Horger Williams. A Boardman High School graduate, she worked for many years in the Boardman School System. Louise was a devout catholic, who was a member of the Resurrection Choir at St. Charles, the Rosary Guild and the Company of Angela. She was in Seton and enjoyed meeting with her beloved Pep girls, and in her spare time she spent her time quilting, knitting and crocheting.
Her husband William J. “Capt” Manley Sr., whom she married September 8, 1951, passed away July 30, 2012.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her children William J. (Sandra) Manley Jr. of Boardman, Debbie (Joseph) Dulovich of Boardman and Laura (Phillip) Lagnese of Twinsburg; grandchildren Bryan (Stormy) Dulovich, Jonathan (Amanda) Dulovich, Phillip (Tara) Lagnese, Michael (Caitlin) Lagnese, Kelsey Manley, Liam Manley; eight great-grandchildren with one on the way; and siblings Mary E. Stephan and Howard Wayne (Eileen) Williams.
Besides her parents and husband, M. Louise is preceded in death by her daughter Mary Elaine Manley and brother Robert A. Williams.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 pm Sunday at Fox Funeral Home.
