Nancy J. (Summerville) Hrusovski

Funeral services will be 6 p.m. Thursday at the Fox Funeral Home for Nancy Summerville Hrusovski, 77, passed away January 21, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Hospital with her loving family by her side.

Nancy was born in Youngstown on April 10, 1940 to the late Clarence and Helen (Davis) Summerville.  Nancy loved life and enjoyed bowling in many leagues and tournaments.  She loved bingo and playing games with her family.  She loved to dance, especially with her brother Ron – may they be “Dancing in the Sky.”  But her favorite thing was camping.  She was a member of Holiday Camplands for 33 years, where she spent her summers with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchild.  Their friends all called her mom and grandma.  She loved all her nieces and nephews as her own.  Nancy was an avid animal lover. 

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 51 years, John ‘Fats’, whom she married on October 22, 1966, two daughters Robin Summerville of Youngstown and Nicole (Dominic) Thomas of Campbell; four grandchildren Kristi Summerville, John, Christopher, and Dominic Thomas III and  five great  grandchildren Kaitlyn, Gage and Savannah Thomas, Eljay and Shay, and many nieces and nephews; a sister Karen (Guy) Depizzo of Liberty and a brother Jim (Kathy) Summerville of Liberty.

She was preceded in death by a sister Gail Wilson and a brother Ron Summerville, her beloved grandson Shaun Summerville and granddaughter Angela Faust.

The family would like to thank the nursing staff at St. Elizabeth hospital in Boardman for the care they showed Nancy in her final days.
