Austintown - Barbara A. Lawson, 84
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Gregory F. Fedor at 10:30 Saturday at St. Joseph Church Austintown, for Barbara a. Lawson, 84 of Austintown, who passed away Tuesday afternoon with her family by her side.
Barbara was born March 1, 1934 in Youngstown, a daughter of John and Theresa Dobrindt Fenisey.
She was a 1952 graduate of Chaney High School and worked in the accounting dept of GF office furniture where she met her husband James. Barbara was a member of St. Joseph Church and was a Brownie and Girl Scout Leader. She volunteered at St. Patrick Church in Hubbard, St. Columba Cathedral and St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Barbara enjoyed traveling, going to bingo and the area casinos with her husband. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Barbara will always be remembered by her husband of 62 years, James A. Lawson, whom she married February 4, 1956, daughters Barbara (James) Pustay, Pati (Rick) Bevan and Karen Spragg, son Jimmy (Lorri) Lawson, grandchildren Sarah (Antron) Otto, Matthew (Ashley) Pustay, Allison Pustay, Jeffrey (Leanne) Bevan, Michael (Veronica) Bevan, Stephen (Vesna) Bevan, Surina Spragg, Andrea (Robbie) Williamson and Jessica Lawson, great grandchildren Laynee Pustay, Andre Otto, Aubrey, Keira, Reagan, Mya, Tatiana, Kendrix Bevan and Adriana Fuentez and several extended family members.. Besides her parents, Barbara is preceded in death by brothers Paul and Richard Fenisey and sisters Irene Pflug and Margaret Summers.. Friends may call for 9:30 to 10:30 Saturday at St. Joseph Church, 4545 New Road, Austintown, 44515.
