Delbert S. Lobaugh, 86 passed away peacefully Tuesday evening April 9, 2024, with his loving wife by his side. He was born March 6, 1938, in Cleveland, son of Theodore Orville and Eva Marguerite Hotchkiss Lobaugh. After graduating from the Cleveland Trade School, Del enlisted at 17 years old, in the Marine Corp and served 21 years, where he became an aircraft mechanic.
Upon his honorable discharge, Del went to work for Douglass Aircraft and retired from United Airlines in California. He moved to the Youngstown area to be close to his family. Del leaves to cherish his memory, his wife the former Kimberly Ann Duckfield, whom he married July 25, 1992, son Steven (Karen) Lobaugh, daughter Linda (Bradley) Price, six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by stepsons John Nelson and David Nelson, and brothers John Lobaugh, Theodore Lobaugh and Edward Lobaugh.
Private funeral services were officiated by Rev. Rebecca Ziekle Tuesday morning April 16th at the Fox Funeral Home, followed by the interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Del’s family respectfully suggests material tributes be made in his memory to Angels for Animals, 4750 State Route 165, Canfield, Ohio 44406
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Edward J. Fox & Sons Funeral Home, 4700 Market St. Boardman.
