Mr. James's kindness and generosity will certainly be missed around Youngstown. I met him when he was creating a medical museum at St. Elizabeth Hospital, was impressed by his energy and good humor. I extend my sympathy to the family, especially my friend Mary.

On behalf of the entire Niles Historical Society we extend our deepest sympathy to the family of Gibby James. He and his wife Adeline were such strong supporters of the societies work as we started in the creation of the "Ward-Thomas Museum" at 503 Brown Street.. Through the years they visited often to view the changes in displays , visiting with us, and telling the stories of the house and its occupants. It was a delight to have know Gib James, God bless him.
Sincerely,
Audrey John, curator
