Darlene Ann " Tiny " O'Connell

Edinburg, Penna.  Darlene Ann “Tiny” O’Connell, 62. A memorial service will be 12 noon Sunday at the Fox Funeral Home, Boardman, for Darlene Ann “Tiny” O’Connell, 62 of Edinburg, Penna., who passed away peacefully Friday November 3. Darlene was born April 18, 1955 in Youngstown a daughter of John and Bernice Womer Gardner. Darlene devoted her entire life to her family, her true joy was  spending time with family, baking, cleaning her home and watching her grandchildren’s sporting events.  Darlene leaves to cherish her memory her husband William M. O’Connell, whom she married Nov 1,1985 ,her children Deanna (Troy) McElwee of Altanta, Georgia, Jason O’Connell of Youngstown, Amanda Reda of Columbus, Jessica (Vincent)Perry of Hillsville, Penna and Albert O’Connell of Youngstown ,a brother Johnny Gardner of Jacksonville, Florida, sisters Denise Roman of Austintown and Cathy DiVito of North Jackson, her grandchildren T.J., Tristan, Teran, Cory, Brooke, Samantha, Vinny and Geno, and four great grandchildren.  Besides her parents, Darlene is preceded in death by her children Joseph O’Connell and Tammy Chrisman and a granddaughter Tiffany and her step mother Kathryn Howard. The family will have a previously planned Spaghetti dinner benefit and celebration of life for Darlene following the memorial service, at 2 p.m.at the East side civics 968 E. Midlothian Blvd.
