I worked with John for many years at Alphabet/Stoneridge. Working with John over the years I came to know John as someone who was humble, had great humility. John's humor and dry wit always provided for a happier life perspective. He was known for his many humorous e-mails poking friendly fun at various situations or events. What a great guy. Rest in peace John Conroy!

For over the last 23 years I've had the great fortune of knowing and calling John Conroy my friend. Funny thing is, I always thought I was John's best friend, but as I looked around, I realized everyone was .... He had that knack, a knack for making you feel you were important to him, probably because we all were. Despite that tough cover, John had a heart of gold. He was always there when you needed someone . There when you needed to move something, need a ride to take your car in for a repair,, stop for a beer when you needed to vent, and always, always had good advice. Although he will be missed, when I think of John I will always smile. I'll smile because what I remember most, is we always laughed, and we laughed a lot. Knowing John, he wouldn't want me to go on and on, so I will end with this.: John has reminded us that life is finite and has taught me to live my life like he did his, staying close with friends and family, and laugh whenever you can. I can tell you this.... I know I'm a better man for having known him, I can thank him for that. Until we meet again my Irish brother, keep the stories ready and the beer cold. May God bless John Conroy, forever my friend.
