Jack F. Komsa

 Prayers will be 9:30 Saturday at the Fox Funeral Home, Boardman, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated by Rev.Vincent DeLucia, O.P.,  at 10 Am at St. Dominic Church, Youngstown, for Jack F. Komsa, 55 of Broadview Heights, formerly of Youngstown, who passed away peacefully Monday afternoon.  Jack was born January 11,1962 in Youngstown, a son of Albert F. and Mary Lou Mozzillo  Komsa. He was a 1980 graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School, and received at MS degree in computer science from Youngstown State University.  Jack was a part time professor at Akron University and was the Senior Project IT manager for Envision RX Options.   Jack was a former member of St. Dominic Church and enjoyed traveling, cooking and working in his vegetable garden.   One of  his greatest joys in life were his two service dogs, Max and Snickers.  With his dogs, he was active at St. Basil the Great Ministry, visiting the sick and shut in's. Besides his father of Boardman, Jack leaves to cherish his memory a brother Gary (Marybeth) Komsa of Poland and two nieces Catherine and Sarah.   Besides his mother, Jack is preceded in death by a brother Robert Komsa.  Friends may call from 6 to 8 Friday at the Fox Funeral Home, 4700 Market St. Boardman, Oh. 44512.  Material tributes can be made in Jack’s memory to St. Dominic Church, 77 East Lucius Ave., Youngstown, Ohio  44507.  Arrangements are by the Fox Funeral Home.
