My deepest condolences. Jack was a true blessing to us all, always very happy, smiling, and laughing! He was a great childhood friend and mentor. I will always cherish my memories spending time with Jack growing up in Youngstown on Labelle and Judson Ave. He will always have a special place in my heart. John Spagnola

Jack you were a great friend. i was always happy when ide come to st baisels and see you there with the dogs. i never would have thought we would loose you so soon. We can all take a page from your book, you were always happy there was never a time when i saw you wherw you didnt have a smile on your face, weather it be talking about your dogs or plans to do somthing fun like go to putin bay. when i close my eyes i can still hear the way you spoke and it feels like you are still here and my mind cant grasp the idea that you are no longer here. life isnt measured by the amout of money you had or the amout of possession you had, Its about the impact you have on peoples lives and i can say without a doubt you have enriched the lives of so many people durring your short time on earth and you have left a whole in our hearts that we will never be able to fill. you will be missed by so many people. i cant wait to see you again and at the rate i smoke it probably wont take too long so get started cooking that amazing zukini lasagna and ill be up there soon.

Dear Jack,

You were one of a kind and will remain so in my mind. God Bless You. The members of St. Basil will never forget all of your generosity and kindness. Bailey Mae and I will never forget all of the pet shows we attended together with you, Max and Snickers. You always had a smile on your face and were so generous donating your flowers and vegetables to everyone in the group. You had a beautiful garden, yard, and home that was always decorated very nicely for a special season. The holidays will never be the same without all the parties you organized and invited everyone from St. Basil's to attend. You always had a warm heart full of compassion. Thank you Jack for all the wonderful things you did and organized for the group. God Bless You in Heaven forever. As another member of St. Basil's commented to me, there will never be anyone like you!

I was saddened to read in yesterday's paper that Jack Komsa, one of my Cardinal Mooney classmates had died. As I remember, Jack had a gentle spirit and was pretty low-keyed. 🙏 going up for him and the Komsa family. May he Rest In Peace! Amen.

I wish to extend my condolences to your family and friends and especially to your fur babies (Max and Snickers) You were the best daddy they could ever wish for and you could never be replaced in their eyes. I loved seeing your smile and gleam in your eyes whenever you talked about them to others.
I still am in shock that you are gone so young and way too soon, it only reminds me that life is too precious to waste it, and that we should enjoy it the way that you showed us How to. You always had a smile for others and shared your intelligence and ideas. You showed us that life is worth celebrating.
We are truly blessed to have known you in your lifetime and you will surely be missed by many.
RIP Jack ❤️

Jack - I was so saddened to hear of your passing . It was truly a pleasure being your neighbor and I have many great memories of you, Max and Snickers. You were such a friendly, compassionate and caring person. It was nice to always see you out walking with the dogs and bringing life to the neighborhood. Your holiday decorations were second to none and brought much joy to the neighborhood. You will be missed by many and very fondly remembered on Karen Lynne. God bless you Jack. Tony

Jack,
As I sit here thinking of you and writing this, I am crying. I am still shocked by your passing. You always were one to celebrate everyone's birthday, inviting all to your fabulous Christmas parties, your beautiful home decorated so perfectly and of course your 2 special 4-legged furry boys Max and Snickers. You were a terrific "pet-parent" and I pray that Max and Snickers will somehow learn to know that their Dad did not leave them intentionally.. May you Rest in Peace my friend.......gone too soon... With much love and many hugs....till we meet again Jack.....Sherry.....
